WALT:Describe recent earthquakes
Today I found out that one of our pacific islands got hit by a 7.5 magnitude earth quake. Also it hit the ring of fire the ring of fire is where the two plates always clash into each other to create natural distastes. The effects of this is that lots of building are busted done and some people are hurt.To describe how it happened we used bread and nutella and jam so we spread nutella on to a thin layer of the bread and cut it in half after that we put some jam between the pieces of bread and squish them together. The jam was for the mantel to see how it happens and the nutella was for the crust and I learnt that some of the tectonic plates slide under to make earthquakes and also slide against each other which create natural distastes.

Ka mau te wehi; you've shared the key information from your group reading about the Papua New Guinea earthquake. The Pacific Ring of Fire is the activity along the edge of the Pacific plate when it moves against/away/under other plates around it. Do you think you could also include some pictures from our model and explain how they represent two different types of boundaries? Thanks for including an image, it made your post more informative about where the epicentre of the earthquake struck.
